I've said it before, but it bears repeating. It's great to hear from my clients because they ask great questions and I get to share the information with others.
One question Id like to address is whether or not there is a relation between high blood pressure and Vitamin D deficiency.
Vitamin D2 and D3 comprise Vitamin D. D3 occurs when skin is exposed to ultraviolet light like sunlight. Sunlight provides the easiest way to get the appropriate amount of Vitamin D.
Healthy bones rely on Vitamin D as do the body's organs. Vitamin D helps to keep the body functioning properly.
Research and studies show that a person is more likely to suffer a heart attack or stroke if hypertension and a Vitamin D deficiency exist.
How can I tell if I might have a Vitamin D Deficiency?
A blood test can be done by a doctor to determine deficiency. Vitamin D deficiency symptoms alone are not the best gauge since they can be similar to those of depression, periodontal disease or the flu.
There are some who have a greater chance of Vitamin D deficiency than others. One group is older adults who tend to spend less time outdoors exposed to direct sunlight. Additionally, their skin does not convert ultraviolet light to Vitamin D as easily as younger adults or children.
Another group at risk for Vitamin D deficiency would be those who are homebound, those living in northern latitudes, and those whos occupations preclude them from direct sunlight.
Larger amounts of the pigment, melanin produce darker skin and also reduce its ability to process Vitamin D from ultraviolet exposure.
Severely overweight people also tend to be at risk for Vitamin D deficiency. The fat cells make the distribution of the vitamin throughout the body difficult.
Of course, the easiest way to avoid Vitamin D deficiency would be at least 10 minutes of direct sunlight exposure each day. You should, however, consult your doctor first to ensure this will not lead to larger health issues.
Many foods contain Vitamin D either naturally or enhanced " Cod, salmon, mackerel, tuna, milk, eggs, cereal. Consult your doctor to ensure you are eating the required amount to maintain adequate Vitamin D production.
There are Vitamin D supplements available, however, a doctor should be consulted since this is a fat soluble vitamin and other health conditions could arise if you are taking too much.
Whether Vitamin D is partially to blame for your high blood pressure or other causes, I suggest you try the High Blood Pressure Program. It has help thousands and will help you too.

Coffee and High Blood Pressure - Connection?
by Christian Goodman
It's no surprise to my friends and family that I pride myself on living a healthy lifestyle. This is why, I suppose only half-joking, that they refer to my daily Grande coffee from Starbucks as my "vice."
A friend recently told me to "watch out," while at Starbucks the other day as I drank my coffee because her doctor told her that coffee can contribute to high blood pressure, or hypertention.
I wondered to myself what advice the doctor gave to my friend about food intake, alcohol intake and smoking. All three of these things my friend does tend to partake in to excess.
I had to assume the doctor stressed to my friend that smoking, alcohol and being overweight are all high contributors to her increased blood pressure, as there is considerable evidence that these things do contribute to high blood pressure. But coffee?
I have read no studies where it states that there is a causal link to coffee and hypertension.
Some studies have shown that drinking coffee does raise one's blood pressure slightly, but only temporarily. In fact, these same studies have shown that over time, this slight increase in blood pressure is reduced.
These same studies also admit that when drinking coffee on a regular basis, this temporary increase in blood pressure disappates.
So why even mention coffee and hypertension? What studies have shown is that coffee can often times partner certain unhealthy behaviors - smoking and over eating.
No. Rather, the studies have shown that people associate the negative lifestyle (cigarettes, over-eating) with drinking coffee. My same friend has foregone her cigarette break if she doesn't have coffee, indicating that the cigarette, "Just doesn't taste the same."
This combination of behaviors is where I'd like to see more research. I've read incredible stories about people who switched from coffee to green tea and see all sorts of positive changes, including lowered blood pressure. What wasn't expounded upon was whether or not they gave up their cigarettes and pastries as a result.
Based on evidence, I do not believe that drinking a cup of coffee, even every day will cause high blood pressure. If I believed that, I wouldn't drink it myself.
Regardless of why you have high blood pressure, I think you will benefit from my High Bood Pressure Program. I've seen and documented incredible results from this simple, natural cure.
If you suffer from being overweight as well, I would suggest my Weight Loss Breeze Program.

Curing TMJ
by Christian Goodman
You've probably been looking for a way to heal your TMJ for some time. You may have read several articles, visited dozens web sites and even read some books. And most likely, the conclusion of all your research is: Nobody knows how to cure TMJ.
Your doctor is probably doing all he can. He's most likely given you strong pain relief pills and maybe some muscle relaxation medicines. But there is not much more he can do.
All these medicines fail. Even if they reduce the pain a little for a while in the beginning, they'll stop working, little by little, as your body gets immune to them.
Many dentist try to help TMJ patients. They make special dental implants. These implants, at best. save your teeth from grinding down at night. But they don't take your pain away.
So why do TMJ experts fail you?
You can't really blame them tough. TMJ is one of the most complex conditions you'll ever find. Every TMJ patient has different original causes for his or her condition. And not only one cause or accident. There are probably several contributing factors causing your pain. Both physical and emotional.
Overwhelming feelings like stress, grief, or intense anger are often basic triggers of TMJ. Injuries, like car accidents or sport injuries are another common triggers. You may not even have noticed at all when your condition began to develop. Maybe you bumped into something but didn't give it a second thought. Few days later you began to experience pain. Most often, there is no way to know the original trigger. Okay, that's enough. Lets talk about what we DO KNOW!
We know for a fact, the jaw joints are always misplaced to some degree. Tiny misplacement can be enough to cause terrible pain. Some patients think the irritation is even worse than the pain. Here are some obvious symptoms...
Jaw locking opened or closed ... Uncontrollable jaw or tongue movements ... Clicking, popping jaw joints ... Clenching or grinding at night ... Grating sounds ... Inability to open the jaw smoothly or evenly ... Jaw deviates to one side when opening ... Inability to "find bite" with teeth Limited opening ... Frequent, migraine type headaches ... Extreme pain in cheek muscles ... Discomfort or pain to any of these areas.
... just to name few.
What we also know is that the muscles around the jaw are always tense. Sometimes they're torn a little, sometimes they're sore, but they're always tense. Weak, tense muscles do not support the jaw in the right way and will actually push it out of position, making this big part of the problem.
This is similar to back problems. Most people who suffer from back problems have weak, tense muscles. The back problem may have started by using bad position when working, by minor injury, or something else that didn't seem very serious at the time.
To avoid the mild pain, the muscles in the back get tense. It jut happens. This is a function nature gave us to deal with pain. The real problem begins when the tension in the back muscles push the spine (even just a little bit) out of place. What should only have been minor problem if the person had exercised and strengthen the back muscles, is now chronic, serious condition.
It's no different with TMJ. Something that probably began as minor problem (maybe small bump on the jaw or period of intense feelings) is now becoming serious problem as the jaw muscles push on the jaw joints. This, then leads to series of other problems.
Now the two jaw joints do not cooperate together. They're unbalanced and uncontrollable. It shouldn't really come as surprise that everything gets stuck. The pain is unbearable. It's like begin constantly tortured.
It's inevitable that some nerves get squeezed when the joints are misplaced. The nerves that control your balance system, for example, are directly connected to nerves around the jaw. This is partly what causes your headaches and also dizziness and lack of balance.
There is no isolation when it comes to muscles. All muscles in your body are interconnected. Either directly or through the nerve system. If your jaw muscles get tense, so will all muscles closely connected to it. Most obvious example is your neck and shoulders. I'm sure they've turned into rocks since your TMJ began to develop. Right?
Less noticeable is the tension in all the small muscles in your head. Including your other face muscles, tongue, throat and even eyes. You may also feel like your throat is narrower now than before (you're not crazy it's true).
All this tension put together causes many of the secondary symptoms of TMJ. Including... arm and finger tingling, numbness and or pain ... pain of the hard palate in the mouth ... tongue pain ... voice fluctuations ... swallowing difficulties ... hissing, buzzing, ringing, or roaring sounds ... blurring of vision ... watering of the eyes ... swallowing difficulties.
...and hundreds of other secondary symptoms, you may or may not have experienced your self.
There is no way to heal your TMJ, unless you loosen up and strengthen all the muscles connected to the jaw and the jaw muscles. This does actually not require hard effort tough. The exercises are simple and easy to do. But you have to practice them if they're are going to work for you.
1) The jaw exercises are self explained. They strengthen and loosen up the jaw muscles directly, so the muscles will not push the jaw joint out of place but guide them into right position.
2) Consider how close the tongue is to the jaw. It's no wonder how important it is to remove any tension from this muscle. You do that using simple tongue exercises.
3) The throat exercises strengthen the throat. The throat muscles are some of these 'hidden' muscles we seldom pay attention to. They're however extremely important and if they're stiff, you'll suffer several symptoms in your throat.
4) The neck and shoulder muscles are directly connected to the Jaw muscles. These muscles are usually the first one to freeze when the jaw muscles get stiff. They can, however, easily be put back into regular function using powerful neck and shoulder exercises.
5) The breathing exercises will nurture and loosen up all the muscles in your head. What's more, they'll will also relief any emotional stress built up in your muscles. You'll be amazed how effective they're.
Most people who practice these exercises claim to get really good relief from them. Many totally heal their TMJ permanently. This is amazing, considering how complicated this condition is.
But before you get your hope to high, I'm going to be brutally honest...
It varies a lot how quickly people receive relief using these exercises. Some people get healed almost over night. Others need up to 2 months to get acceptable results. You've been developing this condition for years (even if you just recently experienced the symptoms). So be patient waiting for results.
The muscles around the jaw must regain their old strength and flexibility. So must the jaw muscle itself. But that's not enough. The jaw muscles must guide and lock the jaw joints into natural healthy position. This happens little by little (often fraction of an inch a day).

Cure Migraine Headaches
by Christian Goodman
There are a million ways to get a headache these days. You could get one when you hit your head on something, or when you miss your caffeine fix, or when you eat ice cream too fast. You could also get a headache when you're overly stressed, when you're fatigued, or when you're sick - the list goes on and on.
In the United States alone, about one in every six people suffer from Chronic headaches and migraines. They suffer infrequently, but regularly. When this happens, it's hard for the rest of the body to do any kind of work when the head is suffering from great pain. Studies have shown that about $50 Billion is lost every year due to workers not being able to work because of chronic headaches.
Where does all that money go? Into the medical industry, I imagine.
Fortunes are being made by doctors and pharmaceutical companies from sales of headache and migraine medications, treatments, and therapies. The problem is that these treatments are only effective temporarily, but they do address the real cause of headaches and migraines.
And the underlying cause is oxygen deprivation. But don't expect the "experts" to tell you that.
You see, every single cell in our bodies need oxygen to function properly. When not enough oxygen reaches the cells in the head, the veins tend to get inflamed against the nerves of the brain - and this causes chronic headaches and migraines to flare up when they do.
It gets worse since most of us don't breathe properly and have bad posture. All these things prevent us from getting the right amount of oxygen and causes us to have chronic headaches and migraines.
If only the medical industry admitted and addressed this underlying cause, the American Economy will not be losing so much money and manpower.
And as usual, it's Christian Goodman to the rescue
My Migraine and Headache Relief Program directly addresses the real cause of the problem. The simple exercises and practices in my program will show you how to increase the amount of oxygen in your body and restore the body's natural balance.
Aside from curing yourself of headache and migraine, you will also be in much better shape than ever before. You'll be surprised at how much you have been missing before.
Wouldn't you like to see just how much?
Warm Regards,
Christian Goodman

The Heartbreak of Snoring
by Christian Goodman
Information on snoring can be found just about everywhere. Why? Because snoring is just so common. It is addressed in a variety of different ways.
You can only truly know how painful snoring is if you've been humiliated in public or been shaken, shoved or otherwise woken up in the night due to your apparent disruptive noises.
Attempting a restful plane ride seems reasonable enough, until you realize that everyone around you was either annoyed or having a laugh during your slumber.
Although our families are used to our snoring, they can't really comprehend how we feel as the person singled out for making such a ruckus.
Does anything really compete with having to be jostled or tapped by someone when we're making a spectacle of ourselves in a crowded situation?
Having been "caught in the act" makes me blush just writing about it. There are so many places a person can end up potentially snoring...my own recliner while company is visiting, a dentist office waiting room...or the dentist chair itself!
What are our options to avoid this? Tons of caffine to become a jittery mess instead of a noise maker? Just staying home?
Maybe you can find the most uncomfortable position possible to ensure that you stand absolutely no chance of dozing when you're in any public situation. Or perhaps you can just commit yourself to forever avoiding churches, chairs, or warm auditoriums.
I do not and will not accept those alternatives. The Stop Snoring Exercise Program is the natural way to cure the condition.
The Stop Snoring Exercise Program can ease snoring caused by a multitude of reasons. Whether it is caused by nasal issues, stress or just age, it can be helped.
Exercises that focus on strengthening the proper muscles and allowing adequate air flow can rid you of snoring.
It is worth the effort especially since you'll end up sleeping better too.
Sleeping better at night can also prevent the urge to dose during the day. Imagine knowing that you may no longer dose off in public places. Or if you do, it's much less likely you'll be caught!

Lose Weight In The Long Haul
by Christian Goodman
It is common sense that you can't expect to lose weight in 3 weeks what took you 3 years or more to put on, right?
Oh, sure, you probably can...but it won't be permanent. Losing weight in a slow, steady manner is not only the most healthy way you can do it, it's also the only way you'll keep it off for good.
It needs more than just a diet plan, because those alone don't work. It requires a shift in lifestyle. People often think that losing weight is hard because they want something that is quick, fast, and easy.
You must change your habits that made you gain all those extra weight. And you must move your body more. I know that the word 'exercise' makes you cringe, but it does not have to be that way. Exercise can be something that you don't dread and it doesn't have to consume much of your time. You just need to move. Once you get used to it, it may even become something that you actually look forward to and miss when you can't fit it in your schedule.
A healthy way of losing weight will take time and normally, you will only lose a pound or two each week. Exercising while dieting will accelerate your weight loss. The combination of a healthy, sensible diet, balanced with all the food groups and 3-5 times a week for 30 minutes of exercise will show you that you don't need the latest fad diet making the rounds to get to your ideal weight.
You don't even have to do drastic changes all at once. Start by making small changes that will make a huge difference if done cumulatively. For example, if you drink soda, switch to water. If you normally skip breakfast, try to eat breakfast at least 3 times a week. Eating breakfast really helps. Once you start doing that, you'll feel so much better that soon you will be eating breakfast everyday by choice.
Refrain from eating too much fast food, and some of the overly processed foods that have very little nutritional value. Use whole grain bread instead of white bread. Little changes. Little by little, as you find out what healthy feels like, you will definitely be attracted to do more and more of it.
Losing weight healthily does not entail cutting foods out completely, especially 'bad-for-you' foods. It's irrational to think that you will never eat another slice of cake, Thanksgiving stuffing, or Christmas candy. If you're watching what you eat 80% of the time, you can relax a bit 20% of the time.
Something else that's missing from the lives of most overweight people is oxygen. You'd be amazed at how much more quickly your body is able to burn fat when given enough oxygen. I designed a program that will give your body the oxygen it so dearly craves.
My 'Weight Loss Breeze' program connects perfectly with your weight loss efforts. These simple exercises only take a few short minutes a day, but the effects on your weight are astounding. When you combine the Weight Loss Breeze with proper nutrition, even without exercise, you will see your pounds melt away.

Obesity in Children
by Christian Goodman
There are a lot of articles written about weight loss and numerous weight loss programs around, but only a few of those address the fact that our children are also overweight.
This is even more alarming when you consider the number of overweight children and teenagers has tripled in the last twenty years and those numbers continue to grow.
The percentage of overweight children from 6-11 years of age has risen from 4% in 1974 to 17.5% in 2004. The numbers are no better for teenagers. Overweight children between the ages of 12 and 19 have increased from 6% in 1974 to 17% in 2004.
As of today, children who are overweight is at an all time high of 32%. Of the 32%, 16% are considered obese, but an alarming 11% are considered extremely obese.
Children of this generation are under even more peer pressure about their weight than most adults can imagine. There are 13-year old girls begging for, and actually having gastric surgeries to lose weight. Some resort to bulimia or anorexia.
The biggest threat with childhood and teenage obesity is these children are much more likely to become obese adults. The difference is they're being affected at a much younger age with the same health issues that plague obese adults.
There is a prediction that the children of today will be the first in history to have a shorter life span than their parents.
It's pointless to discuss here the reasons we've let our children get fat. We all know the reasons, and as adults, we're the ones primarily to blame, not the kids.
We continuously feed them junk food instead of healthy, nutritious meals. Instead of oatmeal for breakfast, we feed them sugar induced cereal.
Too many overly processed, nutritionally bankrupt, calorie-laden snacks and not enough fruit and vegetables. And so much fast food, too much and too often.
To add to that, we've stopped encouraging our children to go outdoors and be active. It's too easy to let them spend one mind-numbing hour after another in front of a TV screen or a computer monitor.
They're growing up so sedentary that even playing outside seems like work. What have we done to our children?
It is time for us to step up and take responsibility for our children who are struggling with weight issues. The damage reaches far more than their physical body, inside and out, because they are also affected by this emotionally.
Children shouldn't have to suffer with issues like depression and a lack of self-esteem. They shouldn't have to endure the daily teasing and rude comments from thoughtless classmates that chip away at their self-image.
It is not fair to let your children's body struggle with the added demands of carrying around excess weight when they are just starting to develop. I am asking all parents and grandparents who have overweight children to do something about it.
Get active with your child. You need to find the time and make the time to prepare healthier meals and snacks. Another thing you can do is use my Weight Loss Breeze Program to lower your child's weight to a normal, healthy level. It's a natural, rational approach to weight loss. And best of all, it works.
